Words cannot express

the gratitude we feel toward the brave men and women who have given their lives for the safety of others. Whether they fought and died to defend their country or to stroke the ego of a despot, their ultimate sacrifice is bestowed the highest honor in this household and in this land.

Would that our sons and daughters, and those of our leaders, show the courage and honor that those brave souls have shown for that in which they believed.

May they rest peacefully, knowing they have achieved greatness.
